Our Story
Alpha Kappa Psi is the first American Professional Business Fraternity to be chartered. It was founded and opened in 1904 at New York University. We have over 250 chapters across the United States and are the only organization to have gone international, with three chapters in the United Kingdom and more along the way. Our members represent some of most highly ranked business schools in the nation. You will not only be joining an elite group of leaders in your community, but also a global community of driven, intelligent and hard-working individuals that will be the future of business.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Founding Class, Alpha Kappa Psi can continue its tradition of setting precedents and contributing not just to New York University and New York City, but to the rest of New York and the world. Alpha Kappa Psi was founded at New York University in 1904. Today, it is among the largest national co-ed business professional fraternities in the world, and is located at more than three-fourths of the nation’s top 50 business schools.
